Introduction
Cosmic Discovery is a specialty chemicals company that was founded in 1994 by a group of dynamic entrepreneurs with many years of experience in the chemical industry.
Working closely with our sister company Budget Champ Sdn Bhd whose focus is on manufacturing, Cosmic Discovery offers an extensive range of the most advanced products and application technologies across a broad spectrum of areas in specialty chemicals.
Our initial growth was fueled by our success in providing not only superior products amidst stiff competition, but also consistently delivering a comprehensive set of product solutions for our customers and extensive consultation on the use of our products. The sustained development of new and improved products through a strong research & development program, as well as the establishment of numerous valued partnerships with our suppliers and distributors, saw the company grow steadily over the years to become a widely acknowledged market leader. With a culture of innovation that is in the DNA of the company and an absolute dedication to delivering the best products and services, our customers can certainly expect to stay well ahead of their competition.

Our Expertise
Cosmic Discovery is managed by a group of highly experienced experts in the specialty chemicals industry. Heading the team is Dr Chan Kah Khiong, who has over 40 years of experience in the industry and holds a B.Tech in Industrial Chemistry and a Ph.D in Structural Chemistry from the University of Bradford. Dr Chan has expert in-depth knowledge across a wide range of areas in specialty chemicals and is recognized by several international professional societies and scientific organizations, including: Chartered Chemist-UK, Member of the Royal Insitute of Chemistry-UK, Member of the National Association of Corrosion Engineers-USA, Fellow of the Institute of Production Control-UK, Member of the American Plating Society, Member and Past President of the Singapore Metal Finishing Society and Member of the Industrial Water Society.
Cosmic Discovery has highly experienced specialists in each of its product divisions. This pool of expertise is further supported by an extensive R&D program to ensure that our product offerings stay ahead of the ever-changing demands of a dynamic global market. For instance, Cosmic Discovery pioneered several industry transforming technologies such as chrome-free metal conversion coatings, green cleaners for the food industry and cleanroom laundry products to help its customers stay ahead of their competitors.
Our technical team undertakes both small and large scale projects, provides on-site technical assistance and conducts training programs for our customers. Our sales team works closely with our distributors to provide the best sales experience to each and every one of our clients throughout Malaysia and the rest of the world.
